Do you think they have to give up the throne after a certain amount of time? If they do I think they should give it to Tania. Isn't she like the "chosen one"? She has saved Faerie three times now I think.

Maybe, but I don't think they should just give up their thrones because they have ruled for a certain time, but because of a bigger reason. Besides, if they give up their thrones (SPOILER ALERT) wouldn't the covenant with the Harper be broken a socond time (even though we still don't know what happened with that), because after all Oberon just went to the Harper to renew the covenant, so wouldn't the same rules still apply?? Since it is still the same agreement... And if anyone else were to rule over Faerie, I think too that it should be Tania, because, as we all saw, she would do anything to protect/safe Faerie (even give up on Edric, as she thought she would). And yes, she is kind of the "Chosen One."

Maybe there is a certain type of rule that we don't know, or a prophecy. Maybe once all of the seven princess's of Faerie are married or all grown up they will choose.

It could be, but then again, what about the covenant with the Harper...? (Only while Oberon rules over Faerie, will the covenant remain...) But I guess it doesn't really matter for now, because we still don't know what happened with Oberon.

I once read a book about a bunch of princesses who all turned to be the queen of their kingdom. I hated it because it made it seemed more like they had a government.

Yeah, and when they choose only one person it actually makes it something special.

It makes the story more intresting when there is more princess and/or princes in a royal family.
