Eh I kinda found the series late, the Sorcerer King had just come out when I was in... ninth grade, so about 13-14 years old and it taught my eye since I had just finished A Midsummer's Night Dream for school. I finished school earlier than planned and so I'm 17 and in college.

I am a third year university student. In my opinion this series can work for any age over 11 as long as the reader has an imagination.
ps. Love Eden's character. She does fill the role of Elder sister with wisdom. As per her marriage with the earl I think her marriage is well suited to her personality as he carries wisdom that she absorbs from him. Their common interest in the mystic arts and other things feeds their marriage into a healthy state. I do not believe that it has anything to do with sexual attraction between them. Plus Eden doesn't strike me as the type thats very interested in the opposite sex.

I agree. Do you guys think the Faeries mind being married off to someone that could be their parents or grandparents or great- grandparents (age wise) or do they not care? I always kinda felt sorry for Eden.

I think Eden is a great character, she always cares for her family and is really helpful with Tania. I don't think Eden cares a lot for Earl Valentyne's age, because she does seem to care about him (SPOILER ALERT), as we can see when he gets the plague and she refuses to leave his side. Besides, she never complains and never expresses not liking him or feeling unconfortable with him. And I am sure that being a user of the Mystic Arts she is happy to be married to one of the most powerful people in Faerie (after her parents).

I'm sure Eden and Earl Valentyne have some sort of strange bond we will never understand. It seens like their bond is something we shouldn't even question.
