A couple of others and myself have pondered on this. How can love be forever in Faerie? How can you love one person (as a lover) and only that person? Is that even possible? In our world, not so much. So how is it in Faerie and is it fair to some?

I think its a very enchanted idea. Beautiful, but at the same time slightly tragic. What happens if that one person dies? Does the other just go on in pain and grief the rest of their very long life? The way Faerie is, it probably is POSSIBLE. But I don't think it should count for everyone. -Rathina, for instance-

If I was Rathina, I'd be "I'm going to love again because its possible and no freakin' rule is gonna stop me!" Especially because that love wasn't returned!

i think that Love does existed for them forever, but there are some that will get a second chance at love. i hope that Rathina gets another chance at love

just because gabriel didn't love rathina back doesn't mean she won't love him for like the rest of her life. I mean if you've ever read harry potter voldemort's mom was hopeslessly in love with the mortal, tom riddle(the first) and he though of her as a disgusting lowly maid. but still still loverd tom for the rest of her life and and even went as far as to name her child tom,(aka voldemort aka tom riddle the second) of course voldemort's mother was only able to marry tom riddle the first and have voldemort through a love potion, but it just goes to show you love can last forever, even if the person doesn't love you back

But then its not love. Its an infatuation or an obsession. If you love someone, such as Voldemort's mom did, and they don't love you back, then that love will wither and die and if you do not put sense back in your head you will die unhappily. Tough and cruel, but the truth. I would not want to love someone who can't/won't love me back. What sort of life are you leading? People in these kind of relationships and marriages are MISERABLE.

There are good and bad parts to love forever, but that is possible because anything is possible in faerie. POOR RATHINA -she's my fav.)
